Olectra Unveils iX and X2 Blade Electric Buses at Bharat Mobility 2025

Olectra Greentech, known for manufacturing next-gen E-buses in India, showcases its two iX and X2 Series bus variants with Blade Battery Chassis. Olectra displays these two models at Bharat Mobility 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

About Blade Battery Chassis

Blade Battery Chassis, innovated and developed by BYD, is the latest feature introduced in Buses. This battery has passed extensive tests like Nail Penetration and furnace trials without explosion or fire mishaps. This battery is compact and lightweight compared to traditional batteries, which enhances space efficiency and energy-storing capacity by more than 30%. With this technology, the bus can run up to 500 Km per charge.

Features of Olectra iX E-Bus

The iX e-Bus is equipped with features such as fully digital instrument panels, Electronic Hydraulic Power Steering (EHPS), real-time Vehicle Tracking Systems (VTS), and many more advanced features. Some other extraordinary features of this electric bus are Reverse Park Assist Systems (RPAS) and in-wheel motors for a smooth ride. For passengers to have a comfortable and smooth journey, amenities like USB charging ports, roof-mounted air conditioning, and cantilever seats are offered with this bus. With this, Olectra shows its commitment towards passenger comfort and world-class service.

There are many highly tech-enabled Safety features provided with this bus, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), GPS tracking, CCTV cameras, air suspension, and kneeling mechanisms, along with wheelchair ramps and inclusive designs, making these buses accessible to all.

Features of Olectra X2 E-Bus

Olectra X2 E-Bus has a peak power of 180 kW, and the maximum torque generated is 800 Nm. The Gross vehicle weight of the bus is 18000 Kg, and the length of this vehicle is 750 MM. The width and Height of this bus are 800 MM and 2050 MM, respectively, making it compact in design. This bus has sufficient space for passengers and languages.  This bus can go up to 300 Km on a single charge. Besides that, this bus comes with fast charging support, decreasing turnaround time.
