
3-Wheeler Sales Report for April 23 and April 24
There is a reason why you see a slight increase in the number of autorickshaws on our highways. The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) reports that sales are up 9% in comparison to 2023 due to the ongoing business season. The total sales increased from 73310 units to 80105 units.
The top 3 OEM’s in the list for the FY23-FY24 are Bajaj Auto, Piaggio and Mahindra.

According to the graph above, Bajaj Auto tops the list with the sales of 29932 units in 2024, with an overall growth of 12.6%. Piaggio, Joining as the league’s 2nd top player, still has a negative sales of -0.4% with sales falling from 6134 units in FY23 to 5886 in FY24.
Next, Mahindra & Mahindra ranks 3rd but it is facing the same situation like Piaggio with a negative sales of -9.7%. The sales of Mahindra & Mahindra came down from 4222 units to 3813 units.
Similarly, the situation of the other competitors is the same, with minimum difference in the sales between FY23 and FY24.
