Electric Bus & Electric 3-Wheeler FY 24 March Sales Summary

FY 23-24 has finally come to an end with the last day of March and here are the sales numbers for the electric bus & electric 3-wheeler category for March. Both are trending categories in the Indian commercial vehicle industry and with the current push for electric mobility from the Indian government the numbers would only rise from here and is expected to see exponential growth in the next fiscal year. 

Electric Bus Sales: FEB FY 24 Vs MARCH FY 24

In FY 24 March, TATA Motors (225) sold the maximum units in this category followed by JBM Auto (73). TATA Motors saw 63% growth from the previous month i.e. Feb ’24. 

Olectra Greentech saw the maximum decline in March FY 24 followed by PMI Electro Mobility. 

Electric 3- Wheeler Passenger L5 Sales: March FY 23 Vs FY 24 

In FY 24 March, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Ltd (4462) sold the maximum units in this category followed by Bajaj Auto (2895). Mahindra saw a 360% increase in sales compared to FY 23 March and 48% growth from the previous month i.e. Feb ’24. 

Bajaj Auto Ltd & TI Clean Mobility Pvt Ltd sold 2895 & 748 units respectively in FY 24 March compared to 0 units in the same month in the previous FY. 

Electric 3- Wheeler Cargo L5 Sales: March FY 23 Vs FY 24 

In FY 24 March, OMEGA SEIKI MOBILITY (2069) sold the maximum units in this category followed by Mahindra Last Mile Mobility (1860). OMEGA SEIKI MOBILITY saw a 222% increase in sales compared to FY 23 March and 462% growth from the previous month i.e. Feb ’24. 

Bajaj Auto Ltd sold 459 units in FY 24 March compared to 0 units in the same month in the previous FY. 

E- Rickshaw Sales: March FY 23 Vs FY 24

In FY 24 March, YC Electric (2936) sold the maximum units in this category followed by SAERA Electric (1967). HOTAGE Corporation reported maximum growth in sales compared to March FY 23 with an increase of 28% followed by Energy Electric with 23%.

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility reported a growth of 16% in sales in March FY 24 compared to Feb in the same FY. 

E- Cart Sales: March FY 23 Vs FY 24

In FY 24 March, YC Electric (374) sold the maximum units in this category followed by DILLI Electric (343). All OEMs reported positive growth in sales in March FY 24 when compared with March FY 23 and Feb FY 24.

SAHNIANAND E VEHICLES reported a growth of 883% growth in sales in March FY 24 in comparison to March FY 23. AUTOECO GREEN ENERGY reported the highest growth of 126% in sales in March FY 24 in comparison to Feb FY 24.
