Brandwise 3-Wheeler and Tractor Sales Report for January 2025

According to the FADA monthly vehicle sales report, the sales of tractors in January 2025 remained at 93,381, with an increase of 5.23%; in January 2024, the total sales of tractors were 88,741. The sales of 3-wheelers in January 2025 remained at 1,07,033, with an increment od 6.86%; in the previous year, the total sales of 3-wheelers were 1,00,160 for the same month.

The FADA President, C S Vigneshwar, said, “The Auto Retail sector kicked off 2025 on a promising note, aligning with FADA’s earlier survey projections that expected January to range from flat to moderately positive. Indeed, overall retail sales posted a robust 6.6% YoY growth, reinforcing the industry’s optimistic start. Our observations indicate that each vehicle category—2W, 3W, PV, Tractor and CV—witnessed positive momentum, pointing toward sustained consumer confidence and steady market recovery.”

Tractor Sales Report For January 2025:

The sales of tractors for MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA LIMITED (TRACTOR) were 22,072 in January 2025, and 20,492 tractors were sold for the same month in 2024 with an increment of 7.71%. MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA LIMITED (SWARAJ DIVISION) sold 17,332 tractors in January 2025, with an increment of 5.26%, and 16,466 were sold in January 2024. The sales figure for INTERNATIONAL TRACTORS LIMITED was 12,285 in January 2025 instead of 11,519 in January 2024, and it saw a growth of 6.65%. TAFE LIMITED sold 10,834 tractors in January 2025, a decline of 1.57% compared to 11,007 in January 2024.

ESCORTS KUBOTA LIMITED (AGRI MACHINERY GROUP)  sold 9,123 in January 2025 and  8,188 in January 2024, with an increment of 11.42%. The sales for EICHER TRACTORS have declined by 4.33%; they remained at 5,960 in January 2025, which was 6,230 in January 2024. JOHN DEERE INDIA PVT LTD sold 6,641 tractors in January 2025 and  5,731 in January 2024, with an increment of 15.88%. CNH INDUSTRIAL (INDIA) PVT LTD sold 4,011 in January 2025 and 3,509 in the same month in 2024, it saw an increment of 14.31%. KUBOTA AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY INDIA PVT.LTD. sold 1,631 tractors in January 2025  and  1,738 in January 2024. The sales for Others remained at  3,492 in January 2025, with a decline of 9.56%, and 3,861 for the same month in 2024.

3-Wheeler Sales Report For January 2025:

BAJAJ AUTO LTD sold 39,488 3W in January 2025 with an increment of 6.30%, which was 37,148 for the same month in 2024. PIAGGIO VEHICLES PVT LTD sold 7,904 3W in January 2025, which was 8,271 in January 2024. MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA LIMITED sold 6,931 3W in January 2025; the sales were 5,316 in January 2024. YC ELECTRIC VEHICLE sold 3,882 in January 2025; the sales were 3,375 in January 2024. ATUL AUTO LTD sold 2,748 in January 2025; the sales were 1,940  in January 2024. 

TVS MOTOR COMPANY LTD sold 2,703 3W in January 2025; the sales were 1,840 in January 2024. SAERA ELECTRIC AUTO PVT LTD sold 2,270 in January 2025; the sales were 2,361 in January 2024. DILLI ELECTRIC AUTO PVT LTD sold 1,924  in January 2025; the sales were 2,007 in January 2024. SAHNIANAND E VEHICLES PVT LTD sold 1,092 3W in January 2025, and the sales were 713 in January 2024. UNIQUE INTERNATIONAL sold 1,108 3W in January 2025; the sales were 1,114 in January 2024. Others, including EV sales, remained at 36,983 in January 2025, with an increment of 2.91%.
