Ashok Leyland Introduces Free Insurance Policy for Truck Drivers

Ashok Leyland has launched an insurance program for drivers named “Sarathi Suraksha Policy,”. Starting from June 1, 2024, this policy will cover all new intermediate commercial vehicles (ICV), haulage, and long haulage trucks sold to customers at no extra cost.

The Sarathi Suraksha Policy provides coverage up to Rs 10 lakh per chassis for accidental death, permanent disability, and partial disability. It also covers accidental hospitalization and offers an education bonus for drivers’ children. As an “Unnamed GPA (Group Personal Accident) Policy,” it ensures full protection for any driver operating an Ashok Leyland vehicle.
