FY 23-24 has finally ended with the last day of March and here are the sales numbers for tractors sold in India during FY 23-24.
India is the land of agriculture and tractors are the powerhouse of modern agriculture that drives the agri-based economy in the country. Here in this blog, we bring out the sales numbers of top tractor OEMs in India for FY 24 and also a comparison of their performance w.r.t FY 23.
Tractor sales report for India: March FY 23 Vs March FY 24
Before we proceed with FY 23 Vs FY 24 data let’s have a look at the performance of tractor OEMs in the last month of FY 24, i.e. March.
Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors, Swaraj Tractors, & International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Tractors) remained the top 3 OEMs for both instances, i.e. FY 24 March and FY 23 March with Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors leading the list with 17,937 units sold in FY 24 March and 17,775 units sold in FY 23 March. The top 3 OEMs had a positive growth rate in FY 24 March when compared with FY 23 March and a combined market share of 54.50% in FY 24 March.

Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors, Swaraj Tractors, & International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Tractors) remained the top 3 OEMs in the tractor segment in India for FY 24 with a combined market share of 53.67%. Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors tops the list for FY 24 having sold 2,04,737 units. Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors, Swaraj Tractors, International Tractors Limited (Sonalika Tractors) & TAFE Limited reported 6-digit sales in units and also reported growth in sales in FY 24 when compared with FY 23. Captain Tractors with a market share of 0.56% in FY 24 reported the highest growth of 46% in sales when compared to FY 23.
In FY 24, 8,92,313 tractor units were sold in India by various OEMs in comparison to 8,29,639 units sold in FY 23.
