TATA Motors Commercial Vehicles Sales Report for April 2024: India

TATA Motors has released the sales numbers for April’24. The report includes April’24 sales numbers of TATA Motors commercial vehicle division and their comparison with April’23 along with the bifurcation of domestic and export numbers. The report also covers sales in units across different commercial vehicle categories sold by TATA Motors. The data shown represents units sold from OEM to dealers only. 

TATA Motors Commercial Vehicles Sales Report Domestic

TATA Motors reported 33% growth in domestic sales in April’24 compared to same period last year. Passenger carriers reported the highest growth with 118% followed by ILMCV trucks with 101%. In both timelines, the SCV category emerged as the leader in sales volume, with April’24 marking a significant milestone at 11,823 units sold, reflecting a notable 15% increase from April’23. This underscores the robust demand and growing popularity of SCVs in the market.

TATA Motors reported a 4% growth in exports in Apr’24 compared to Apr’23. In terms of domestic + export numbers, Apr’24 reported a positive growth of 31% compared to same period last year.
